While getting some auto accessories installed I had some thoughts that seemed worth documenting on my phone cam. It’s a little rambling… but I really love this concept of calculated laziness.

Let me know if this makes as much sense to you as it does to me…

AFTER WATCHING: If you want to put into action the stuff I’m talking about and learn to be “calculatedly lazy” visit here, watch the video, and read the entire page.

  1. Great insight. I think another way to say how “strategic laziness” can maximize results is simply to say that it’s “efficiency”. In the example of the person making 100K a year working 80 hours trying to only work 40 hours is the perfect example. If you can still make the same 100K per year and work half as much as you did before, you just increased your efficiency.

    • Exactamundo! You’re spot on about efficiency. I like calling it a form of “laziness” to throw in the face of all the teachers who told me I was lazy b/c I was trying to get my work done faster so I could go out and play. People think that hard labor is noble… I say that smart labor is noble!

  2. Yet another astute observation, Jeff. Get your car worked on more often. We love it!

  3. This guy, is incredible, with his laid back style. He may just be talking around the something, over and over. Yet, if you listen, and not just hear him, with his attitude. You will capture the true message, of him showing leverage by doing relaxing things he wants to do. He is also sharing this untapped understanding, of attitude and mind set, of great leaders in our industry.

Hey, I agree with him yet, I spend hours helping others, and not doing nothing. My time is more valuable. I love and enjoy spending days supporting others, and never expecting anything, back from them. Yet, I do leverage every activity. That is just part of the years learning. Then as he, is sharing the love. So I will continue too…

Wonderful post, and great find. Jeff your a real visionary, to have located and utilize due diligence. When reviewing all the concepts, this would expose. Great find!

I always look forward to my visits.

I have lived in this mindset, and fought the implication.

Clairity is the important “Knowing” of the thought.

Thank you for the support and boost to “Be” alive and
    “knowing”……

  5. I would really like to know what your business is before I invest.

Absolutely makes great sense there, Jeff. The wandering dude’s mind is never really at rest and always at work trying to makes things better for the team. Hope the new accessories keep the little one’s occupied so we can all benefit from your way of seeing things to help us achieve all we wish for.

  7. Thanks for the reminder, Jeff. Yes, leveraging works very well in business! The only problem with leveraging where $$ are involved is that it works very well when things go well, but it can also ‘bite’ you if things don’t work out! As online businesspeople we need to live with this risk factor, and deal with it. Being able to ‘feel the fear, then do it anyway’ is the mark of a true entrepreneur.

  9. Jeff: I see where focusing on leverage doubleling is important. Reduceing input to maintain output is important. Time is a valuable tool in business.
